1st CoRAI Summit on the Future of Autonomous Mobility

On 9 October, the 1st CoRAI Summit on the Future of Autonomous Mobility took place in Brussels aiming to discuss, exchange views and increase expertise on the “Future of the Automotive Industry”, in order to promote cooperation between local and regional authorities.

The conference brought project leaders from ten regions, the industry and high-level political decision-makers. The speakers touched on important questions such as ‘What impact will autonomous driving have on public transport and rural areas?’. A high-level panel of political representatives discussed their views and exchanged ideas, while a dedicated part of the event gave national project leaders the chance to present their achievements and latest developments on their test fields.

ARCADE project participated in the exhibition “Testing Autonomous Driving – Demonstration of Test Robots, Test Fields and Other Projects on Autonomous Driving” and took the opportunity to present its developments and achievements to the audience. Moreover, the interaction with exhibition participants offered a possibility to present ARCADE Associated Partnership opportunities and spread the word about the ARCADE Knowledge Base.

The Committee of the Regions Automotive Intergroup (CoRAI) is a platform for an informal discussion bringing together members from different parties, committees and EU Member States being interested in future developments of the automotive sector.
