Competence Network for Automated and Connected Mobility

20 October 2020

The competence network for automated and connected mobility organises the exchange of expertise in the field of automated and connected mobility on behalf of the Ministry of Transport of the state North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The competence network, initiated this year, addresses all relevant actors from mobility industry, science, administration and society – across all modes of traffic. The activities of the network relate to the topics of intelligent carriers, intelligent infrastructure and intelligent traffic management. The competence network has the following goals:

  • Through a lively exchange of expertise and the organisation of workshops, networking is promoted
  • By initiating new projects and developing new project ideas with the network members, innovation is driven
  • Through a thorough market observation and periodical reports, competence gets concentrated
  • By various forms of public relations trough website, social media, press articles, etc., information for all interested parties will be provided

To achieve these goals, a community for players in the field of automated and connected mobility is created. This community decides on relevant questions and challenges of the mobility system of the future and develops dedicated solutions.
