European Data Protection Board has opened a public consultation on connected vehicles

The European Data Protection Board collects feedback via open consultation on the Guidelines 1/2020 on processing personal data in the outline of connected vehicles and mobility-related applications. The board requests to send your comments/feedback by 20 March 2020 at the latest using the provided form.

The EDPB informs the public that by submitting comments they acknowledge that comments might be published on the EDPB website. All replies sent before publication are screened by the EDPB secretariat staff to eliminate unauthorised submissions such as spam. All the unauthorised submissions are immediately deleted. A contribution to the public consultation may be subject to a request for access to documents under Regulation 1049/2001 on public access to the European Parliament, Council and Commission documents. In this case, the request will be reviewed against the conditions set out in the regulation and in accordance with applicable data protection rules. All legal specifics can be found in the Specific Privacy Statement (SPS).
